The Alpinist is Nunatak's superior ultralight version of the ordinary mummy sleeping bag.

With a fully sculpted shape and high tech materials, we sought to rework the traditional concept into something far more useful for the serious user. First we moved the zipper from the side to a center front location. This gives you full use of both arms while still having head and back in the sleeping bag, a must when performing camp tasks in less than ideal conditions. The center zip also gives you more effective torso ventilation.

Remaking the traditional head opening into the Alpinists innovative hood is the natural follow-up to the zipper relocation and does a better job keeping you warm with less material.

The Alpinist's primary playground is, as the name implies, the high mountains. It is your best choice for alpine bivouacs where outmost protection from the elements is key. If you're going light and fast, you'll be glad that the Alpinist is in your pack.
