Back to Nunatak Sleeping Bags

The Arc Specialist is the latest addition to our Arc Concept sleeping quilts.

The Specialist is a Nunatak derivative of Dr Ryan Jordan's ArcX, which was a one pound sleeping bag that would cover the typical summer hiking season with the new layered approach. To further expound on the twisted origins of this bag, it can be mentioned that we built the ArcX for Ryan's Bozeman Mountain Works a.k.a. backpackinglight.com
In our typical fashion, we made a few revisions to the Arc Specialist. 1.75" baffle height for better down control. 3 girth control straps. Better foot box. All with no appreciable weight gain.

We also offer this bag in various shell fabrics to suit your specific requirements.

These refinements have proven their worth with extensive on the trail testing from our dedicated customers. We were told there was a need for a larger foot box for wearing down slippers . We also found the increased girth compared to our Arc Ghost Quilt is desirable if you're pushing the limits of your gear into the cold seasons. More coverage allows for greater layering flexibility.
